Product Details:
The MC001 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for detailed vocal, instrument, recording, broadcasting, streaming and live-performance applications. It uses a 32mm gold-plated large diaphragm capsule and a cardioid pickup pattern to focus on sound from the front while reducing unwanted sound from the sides and rear.
The microphone has a metal-bodied construction with a fine metal mesh grille and integrated internal electronic circuitry. Its shock mount helps isolate the microphone from handling and stand vibrations, while the included windshield helps reduce air movement and breath-related noise.
A built-in 100Hz low-cut filter with a 6dB/octave slope helps reduce low-frequency rumble and unwanted bass vibrations. The microphone uses a 3-core XLR connection and requires 48V phantom power from a compatible audio interface, mixer, microphone preamp or phantom power supply. It is not a USB plug-and-play microphone.

How It Works:
The large-diaphragm condenser capsule converts changes in air pressure caused by sound into an electrical signal. The cardioid pattern concentrates pickup toward the microphone's front and reduces sound arriving from the rear. The internal circuitry processes the capsule signal and sends it through the XLR connection. 48V phantom power is required to operate the condenser electronics.
