How to Use:
Install 2 AAA alkaline batteries if they are not already installed.
Remove the protective cover from the measuring pins.
Select the appropriate wood-species setting according to the material being tested.
Insert both metal pins into the wood surface.
Keep the pins firmly positioned during measurement.
Read the moisture value shown on the LCD display.
Use the Hold function when you need to retain the displayed reading.
Use the maximum-value function when checking for the highest moisture reading.
Remove the pins carefully after measurement.
The meter automatically switches off after approximately 120 seconds of inactivity, or it can be switched off manually.
Important Usage Notes:
The two measuring pins must make proper contact with the wood for a reading.
Different wood species can produce different readings; use the appropriate correction setting where applicable.
Surface moisture and uneven wood conditions may affect measurements.
For more representative results, take readings at multiple points rather than relying on a single measurement.
Do not use the meter as a substitute for professional moisture analysis where exact moisture content is critical.
